Discovering Florence Walk: afternoon  P.zza S.Trinita - Chiesa SS. Apostoli - P.zza S. Spirito - Palazzo Pitti

Season: from 1 April to 30 Oct. - Tues. Thurs. Sat. Meeting: Piazza Santa Trinita, at the Column Start: 16:00 (15 minutes earlier at the meeting point) End: around 19:00

This tour allows you to discover the part of the city lying on the other bank of the river Arno, well known for its charming corners, famous churches and aristocratic palaces, and also for its numerous craft and antique stores. From Piazza Santa Trinita, before crossing over the splendid bridge of the same name, you can visit the small and very ancient church of SS. Apostoli (interior). The tour continues along the narrow lanes of the Oltrarno, ending up in the enchanting Piazza Santo Spirito. Then, passing through the famous Via Maggio, the “road of antique shops”, we cross Borgo S. Jacopo, from where you can take in the enthralling view of the Ponte Vecchio. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Palazzo Pitti (exterior), built for the Pitti family and the last residence of the Medici family. End of the tour.
